Children Career- New Normal

Children are the future of any society and Youth currently are going to be the leaders tomorrow, in their respective Society, Companies, Organisations, Families. I have been thinking about these set of people off late, and really want to work with them in a capacity to channel their energies. So, I started writing and putting my thoughts together. Do comment your inputs on this.  The context & orientation is purely Indian.

Especially in COVID19 induced situations. Numerous parents now either are facing a pay cut/ Job loss, but still, they focus on their children’s education and career prospects.

OUR CHILDREN - HAPPY CHILDREN

Happy children make happy society and I personally, feel happy to see the school going kids whenever I travel by road. When we start thinking about our children’s career and their future, we go through multiple emotional dilemmas.  I have been a keen watcher about parental anxieties and longing for possible solutions. The online forums are filled with these anxious parents who wanted to find out about their children’s future in terms of

 ·        What is the course is suitable for them?

·        Is it Engineering or Medical? OR is there any other course they can study?

·        Abroad or India?

·        Which is the career that is futuristic?

·        What if similar COVID kind of situations come up, in their Prime?

And trust me, these are the few lead questions or the tip of Iceberg as the question will arise from the answers that emerge. Endless. Maybe.

Looking at parents they are justified in asking so, after all, they always think better for their children and Parents does not want their children to face hardships similar to ones they have faced. That beautifully places us in seeing the faces of Parents and their thought process. Say types of parents.

 ·        “I don’t know in particular” will be the claims of parents who form the majority. These parents know they have to give the best to their but unaware of the options available.

·    “I know all options and I want to children to work on their strengths” the ideal list of Parents.

·        “I know my child and I will TELL/LISTEN to them what to do” – strong parenthood. Correct Parenthood??

·        “I don’t know and don’t have time to see these things. Children will grow on the flow” we must have seen these set of parents also, who were too involved in their own battle of earning a livelihood.

We all know that every child is different, and every child is a powerhouse. As a parent, we need to know and nourisher their strengths. Blessings are the parents who know their children’s potential truly.

Land, Lockers, and Light-Speed Travel: A Rural Futurist’s Musings

Land, Lockers, and the Layer Beyond In the heart of Tamil Nadu, we’re surrounded by land that grows cane, people who grow ideas, and lockers that — until now — stayed silent. But what if these lockers became companions ? Picture this. A farmer walks into a locker room. No screen. No password. Just a gentle, intelligent voice: “Vanakkam, Meenakshi Amma. Your daughter’s gold chain is safe. Would you like to invest ₹500 this month into a short-term fund?” No paper. No forms. No confusion. Just dignity delivered through data . That’s screenless tech with soul . ЁЯЧг️ When Voice Becomes the New Touch We’re entering an era where screens shrink… and experiences expand. A visually impaired person can hear their balance and authorize a transfer — no phone needed. A senior citizen can invest in mutual funds through a voice prompt — no app, no anxiety. A rural mother can access her locker and savings with just her spoken word. This isn’t some elite vision. It’s technology tha...

The Origin of Languages and the Enigma of Tamil

A Two-Part Exploration into Lemuria, Lanka, Sumer, and the Timelessness of Tamil Ambulance & Traffic Jam In search of clarity in the noise of history, myth, and language. Recent debates on the antiquity and uniqueness of Tamil — especially in contrast to other Dravidian languages — have brought new attention to age-old questions. Where did Tamil come from? Is it connected to Sumerian? What about the submerged continent of Lemuria or the Ramayana’s Lanka? This two-part essay explores those very ideas, connecting linguistic, cultural, and historical dots — from mythical continents and ancient rivers to the unbroken lineage of a living language. What emerges is not just a defence of Tamil, but a celebration of its enduring, singular character. Part I: The Lost South — Lemuria, Lanka, and Sumerian Shadows 1. Introduction The origin of human language is among the greatest puzzles in anthropology, linguistics, and mythology. While many traditions trace roots to Indo-European or Afro...
